There are tons of mobile marketing options to choose from, but where do you start? What do you focus on? To help you navigate we’ve created a mobile marketing checklist that you can put into play. Working Hard-3

#1 Social Media on Mobile Devices
If your brand is not on Twitter, Facebook or Google + you are missing out on a big opportunity. However, don’t let anyone tell you that there’s a ‘one shoe fits all’ approach that will work. The rules are constantly changing and how that affects you will depend on what your business is. It’s important that you always stay on top of these changes to maximize your benefits.

#2 Mobile Banner Ads
This form of advertising is rather new on scene. It has went through some huge changes since the beginning. The traditional mobile ad was 120x120 but that size has now grown to 320x50 on some smartphones. There is also more than one type of ad now. Traditional banner will still give you the most reach, but the newer formats provide all kinds of options.

#3 Mobile Video
Never underestimate the power of mobile video. Smartphones can now easily view video and over 50% of them have a larger screen and faster processor so watching video just became even more appealing. In fact, it’s an experience enjoyed by many. As a result, mobile video popularity is growing by leaps and bounds. There are many formats available including interstitials, pre-roll, and long videos.

Facebook and Twitter have changed how we create and share videos. Facebook has auto play so your videos start immediately.

#4 Content Syndication
Creating excellent content is a great place to start, but if no one finds your content it was a waste of your time. In the past social media were organically used to build audiences. However, with algorithm changes it’s not as easy as it once was. For example, a Twitter post has only an 8 to 10 minute life. Make sure you understand the changes as they occur.
