CMS Watch has posted a great article about feature bloat (i.e. enormous and complex interfaces) in CMS and DAM tools:

Trends: Are we reaching the limits of UI buildout?

As I posted in my response in that blog, I wholeheartedly agree!

I'm interested to hear your thoughts about this. Which features do you use most often in your CMS or DAM--or which ones would you happily remove to de-clutter your interface? Are there features that you think are most useful for your industry or similar sized companies? Finally, which tools are you currently using that are either way too bloated OR that strike a perfect balance between simplicity and robustness?
